Scrap skirt

I pinned and made the easiest little skirt, it literally took 5 minutes! I used a scrap of fabric from Grandma that she used in the quilt she have me for graduation. Next time I'll use a longer piece so it is more gathered at the top. Unfortunately my model was not cooperative when I tried to take a picture!

Late for June

I've been MIA in projects the past couple months.  In June I was busy, just never finished anything... This is a sneak peak of something I did in B's room.  Garage sale find, refinished and distressed.
This is my only officially done accessory project for June.  Thanks to pinterest my shoes are now off the closet floor! I think I needed to use cabinet moulding so it had more of a lip on it.  I ended up having to take a 1"x3" piece and glue it to the back of the moulding. Thanks to my handy friend Tres Chelle who helped me cut and put the pieces together!

Accessorize!!

Here's a little before and after! So much happier in the after...amazing what a little paint and stain can do! {Becky}

You can never have enough.....

These are accessories for granddaughter Emma.  The purple ones still need the elastic sewn.  It's okay though cuz her feet aren't quite big enough for them yet.  Soon.

Garden Accessory

June has been a busy month of gardening!  I got my raised bed planted and my greenhouse up! When I returned from vacation last week it was soo fun to see all my veggies growing!  I have seen a ton of different ideas for markers but when I was planting seeds, I needed a quick and easy way to identify what I planted. I had a box of corks and some grilling skewers in the kitchen...PERFECT!!! my veggies have been accessorized! :)
