Button Clock

I was once again inspired by pinterest a few months ago and decided I wanted to make a button clock for my craft room!  The hardest part was finding a clock mechanism.  I watched for an old clock at garage sales but did not find anything.  I probably could have ordered one but I waited too long to get started on the project! I found the one I used at our craft store that is going out of business. I don't love the gold but it was a good deal. I guess I can continue watching for an old clock and exchange it out if I find something better!
It fits perfectly in my craft room! I love it! :)

Crayon art

Decided to try the crayon art thing. For the heart I cut out vinyl on stefanie's cricut. And rather than using a blow dryer used a heat gun. Which work way better(Stefanie made a small one and use a blow dryer. And it didn't turn out!)

Fish wall hanging

This "Tessellating Fish" wall art wasn't as easy as it looked.  Paper piecing but you had to figure out all the colors with the right piece so the fish came out right.  I used all scrap fabrics, scrap batting, scrap yarn.  I will use it for the silent auction at our local quilt show in October.  Can check this off my list.  I love it.

Wall Art - flower

So I used iron on transfer to put the petals on the canvas. I saw something on Pinterest like this and it looked really cool so I wanted to try it. My version is cute, I like it, but there is something that still bugs me about it. Something to do with the shape. I rearranged the petals (it felt like) a million times and still couldn't figure out a way for me to get over it.

kuspuk and owl bags

I made these a couple weeks ago and procrastinated putting them on the blog!  :o)  They were quick (a nice IGP for me!!) and easy!  My daughter helped me pick out the fabrics and she designed the owl.  I used vintage trim from my grandma's stash of fabrics/trims that I found in her garage last month- uh, AWESOME!  :o)  These were gifts for friends of my daughter and they LOVED them.  I saw them using them for church last week!
